ENEA organises a Short-term training for Technical staff and Scientists that will be held on 6 and 7 November 2023 in ENEA-Casaccia, Rome, Italy.
The course is designed for engineers, researchers and representatives from European CSP industry and companies who want to be trained on the in-field optical characterization of parabolic trough modules by VISfield.
The training will include visits, procedures, standards and best practices, theoretical and experimental ‘hands-on’ experience and cover the following topics:
- Visual Inspection System: innovation and benefit
- VIS instrument family
- VISfield in translational and rotational mode: pros and cons
The training will include theoretical lectures, in-door training and outdoor measurements, as well as visit to PCS facility, OMSoP dish, VISfield and solar collector optics laboratory.
No course fee is applicable. Accommodation and travel costs shall be covered by the participant.
